This proprietary blend of Black Beauty turf-type tall fescues and hard fescues requires less food and water than competitor's mixtures, making it ideal for shady lawns that receive less sunlight. It germinates in 10 - 14 days and grows deep shade right up to the base of trees. Use only Jonathan Green's Seeding and Sodding Fertilizer which contains phosphorus to encourage deep root growth.
