Care & Use

• Simply unroll the hose to use just as you would a normal garden hose.
• Screw the female end (near the electrical cord) of the hose onto your faucet. Make sure the washer is in place inside the female coupling.
• Plug the 3-prong cord into a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or a properly-grounded 3-hole outlet that is protected by a GFCI.
• The heater is thermostatically controlled and will not turn on unless the ambient temperature approaches freezing temperatures.
• It is good practice to drain and unplug the hose when not in use to extend the lifetime of the hose.
• If water is frozen inside the hose, allow several minutes for the ice to melt after plugging in the hose and before use.Warranty and Return Policy

18-Month Limited Warranty covers replacement of any hose found to be defective. To claim a replacement hose, the buyer must send us a copy of their receipt or credit card bill (with any sensitive info blacked out), an explanation of the defect and the entire hose, including the power cord. The legitimacy of any claim of defect will be determined at our sole discretion. Any improper use of the hose, including attempting to connect hoses, using extension cords, tampering with the hose or not plugging the hose into a GFCI outlet installed by a licensed electrician with a minimum of 12 gauge power will void the warranty.

PIRIT Heated Hoses have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Just return your hose within 30 days of your purchase date and we will refund 100% of your purchase price of the hose. (We will not refund shipping costs.)
